Sally Maze, who went viral in April with a video expressing her disdain for Dallas, was honored by the city of Fort Worth Tuesday with the designation of “mayor for the day.”

The video, posted by her daughter Katherine Rauzi, showed 91-year-old Maze calling Dallas “flooty tooty” and imploring her daughter to move back to Tarrant County.

Maze, who grew up in Fort Worth’s Riverside neighborhood, currently lives in Hurst.

“Let’s get this meeting started, cause I have a lot of opinions,” Maze said as she gaveled in Tuesday’s meeting.

Fort Worth’s elected Mayor Mattie Parker thanked Maze for being a vibrant voice for the Fort Worth community. She noted the video of Maze garnered over 4.3 million views on Instagram and led to media attention from WFAA and the Star-Telegram.

Maze thanked Parker and the city for the recognition.

“I’m 91 and I’m mayor, I mean it’s great,” Maze said.
