A person died early Wednesday in a collision of four vehicles on I-35W in south Fort Worth, police said.

The collision occurred about 4:15 a.m. in the freeway’s northbound lanes, near Everman Parkway, Fort Worth police said.

The person was declared dead at the scene.

Police released no other information on the collision. A Fort Worth police spokesperson did not respond to a reporter’s question that asked whether the deceased person was a driver or a passenger.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has not released the person’s name or age.
