Man, 40, found dead in water hazard at Fort Worth golf course, police say

A man was found dead Saturday, May 17 in a water hazard at a golf course in north Fort Worth, police said.

Fort Worth homicide detectives are investigating what led to the man’s death, police said.

Officers were dispatched to the 3400 block of Clubgate Drive at The Golf Club at Fossil Creek about 6 a.m. When officers arrived, they found the man in the water hazard, police said.

The man was identified as 40-year-old Kade Weaver.

Weaver was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine his cause and manner of death.
