Two Fort Worth restaurants were closed after health inspectors found roach infestations and rodent droppings, latest inspection report shows.

According to the report compiled by the Star-Telegram, 387 restaurants were inspected between March 30 and April 12.

Fort Worth inspection scores are based on a demerit system. Food establishments receiving more than 30 demerits have 48 hours to fix the worst problems and then clean up the rest. Zero demerits is a perfect score.

Paradise Quick Stop #1 at 5401 Sun Valley Drive was closed due to roach infestation. The food establishment scored 22.

Jacksboro Food Mart at 4938 Jacksboro Highway was closed due to lack of hot water. The city health inspectors also found rodent droppings and roaches at the establishment. The mart scored 17.

Center For Transforming Lives at 3401 Ave. I was approved by the city to reopen during this inspection cycle. The restaurant scored 7.

A repeat violator appeared in this report, La Playa Maya Southside at 3200 Hemphill St. It received a score of 22 after health inspectors found dirty food contact services of the ice machine and can opener. The restaurant may face legal action or citation if the violations are not corrected in the next inspection.

No food establishments received over 30 demerits during this inspection cycle, according to the report.

Thai Select at 4630 SW Loop 820. Score: 23.

Ninja Sushi And Grill at 4714 SW Loop 820. Score: 18.

Super Food Mart at 1525 E. Berry St.. Score: 16.

Pacos Mexican Cuisine at 1508 W. Magnolia Ave. Score: 12.

El Corral Restaurant at 3401 Altamesa Blvd. Suite 166. Score: 9.

Kindred Healthcare at 7800 Oakmont Blvd. Score: 17.

Children’s Early Development Center at 3328 E. Belknap St.. Score: 7.
