Insomnia Cookies giving away free cookies at grand opening of its new Fort Worth store
Fort Worth’s late-night dessert scene is getting another sweet addition.
Insomnia Cookies, the popular bakery known for serving warm cookies well past midnight, is set to open its third location in the city this weekend.
The new store, located at 1062 W. Magnolia Ave., will host a grand opening on Saturday, March 22.

What is Insomnia Cookies?
Insomnia Cookies is the cult favorite bakery known for serving up warm, gooey cookies and other sweet treats around the clock. It was founded in a University of Pennsylvania dorm room to satisfy midnight cravings in 2003. The store has seven locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area as of 2024.
The other two Fort Worth locations are located in the West 7th district and on West Berry Street, near TCU’s campus.
Are thee any deals at the grand opening?
At the grand opening, attendees who sign up for — or already are members of — Insomnia Rewards will receive a free Classic cookie. Plus, you can enjoy free local delivery with the code “FORTWORTH.”
What are the hours for the new Insomnia location?
The new Fort Worth store is designed to cater to all your cookie cravings, day or night. Here’s when you can get your fix in-store:
- Sunday: 12 p.m. –1 a.m.
- Monday – Wednesday: 11 a.m. – 1 a.m.
- Thursday – Friday: 11 a.m. – 3 a.m.
- Saturday: 12 p.m. – 3 a.m.
What’s on the menu?
Insomnia Cookies is famed for its classic cookies. Popular flavors include Chocolate Chunk, Snickerdoodle, Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup and the S’mores Deluxe. The menu also offers Ice cream, cakes and brownies. Customers can order cookies in bulk, up to a 50 pack.
