One dead in two-vehicle crash in northwest Fort Worth, according to police

One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash late Friday night in northwest Fort Worth, police said.

Officers responded to a major accident at the intersection of Meacham Boulevard and Blue Mound Road around 11:35 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 7. Two vehicles had collided with each other at that location, according to police.

One person died at the scene, officials said. The victim will be identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner.

The Traffic Investigation Unit is looking into the circumstances surrounding the fatal accident, police said.
