Robber with ‘large handgun’ holds up Metro PCS store in Fort Worth
Police are looking for the robber who held up a Metro PCS on Friday using a “large handgun,” authorities said Tuesday.
Surveillance footage from the store in the 2800 block of Miller Avenue close to East Berry Street shows a tall man entering with the gun and using it to push people to the floor.
The robber fled on foot with cash, according to a Fort Worth police news release. The amount stolen was not reported.
Police are also looking for a woman, pictured in a white T-shirt, shorts and flip-flops, who left the store immediately before the robber entered.
Police are asking anyone who can identify the people to call them.
The robber is black, in his 20s, 6 feet and 200 pounds. He wore blue latex gloves and a black net covering his head. He wore a long-sleeve, button-up, red/maroon shirt; tan pants; and blue gym shoes. — Monica S. Nagy
