Motorcyclist killed in Fort Worth crash Saturday afternoon, police say

A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a truck Saturday afternoon in Fort Worth, officials with the Fort Worth Police Department said.

Officers responded to a major accident call at Sycamore School Road and Hawkwood Trail at 4:16 p.m. Saturday, officials said.

Upon arrival, crews found that a motorcycle and truck had collided, according to a statement.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified him as Xavier Laurens Brumfield, 35, of Fort Worth.

Details surrounding the crash are still under investigation, officials said.
