Leon Bridges is bringing two big names to Fort Worth for ‘The Big Good’ fundraiser
Leon Bridges is roping a couple of his famous friends together for his annual Fort Worth fundraiser.
Bridges’ The Big Good was founded in 2020 alongside former TCU football coach Gary Patterson. The Fort Worth nonprofit supports local organizations focused on addressing critical unmet needs in the community.
The Big Good’s biggest fundraiser of the year, aptly titled “The Big Night,” is set for April 3 at River Ranch Stockyards in north Fort Worth. This year’s event will raise funds for Tarrant Area Food Bank, Tarrant To & Through Partnership, United Community Centers and UpSpire.
Bridges will be joined by Maggie Rogers and Charley Crockett as musical talent for the event.
Rogers, a Maryland native, released her latest album “Don’t Forget About Me” in 2024.
As a New York University student in 2016, Rodgers played her song “Alaska” to an enthusiastic Pharrell Williams, who said he had “no notes” for the singer. The clip later went viral across social media.
Rogers brought out Bridges last year at her Dallas concert, where the pair sang his song “River.”
Crockett was born in San Benito, Texas, later moving to Dallas at a young age.
His latest album “$10 Cowboy” released last year and is nominated for Best Americana Album at the 67th Grammy Awards on Feb. 2. Crockett will release his next album “Lonesome Drifter” on March 14.
Crockett performed with Bridges at the latter’s sold-out Dickies Arena show in Fort Worth last November.
