The most wonderful time of the year may be all wrapped up, but for some, the best time of the year has just begun.

It’s Girl Scout Cookie season.

From Jan. 10 until March 2, The Girl Scouts of the USA have the opportunity to sell boxes of cookies to raise money for their troop and practice their entrepreneurial skills through goal setting, decision making, money management and people skills.

Girl Scouts of America is a youth organization for girls in Kindergarten through 12th grade. Girl Scout Cookies began in 1917 when a troop in Muskogee, Okla. baked sugar cookies as a service project. By 1948, 29 bakers were licensed and in charge of baking three Girl Scout Cookie flavors.

Now in 2025, there are 12 cookie flavors baked by ABC Bakers and Little Brownie Bakers.

In North Texas, you can buy Girl Scout cookies from Girl Scout troops of the Texas Oklahoma plains. Here’s what to know about obtaining these limited-time treats in 2025.

Where can I find Girl Scout cookies?

Girl Scout cookies can be found at local booths or through a Girl Scout that you know.

To find a booth near you, visit the Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains “Find Cookies” section on their website. You can also often run into scouts standing in front of grocery stores selling boxes for $6 a pop.

If you do not want to bring home cookies, you can also just donate to Cookies for Heroes. Proceeds go to local first responders.

Girl Scout cookie flavors for 2025

The Girl Scouts offer 12 different cookie flavors, some more popular than others. Their top sellers are Thin Mints, Caramel deLites (formerly known as Samoas) and Peanut Butter Patties (also known as Tagalongs).

The Toast-yay! and Girl Scout S’mores cookies will be retired after the 2025 season, according to a press release. All cookies are also Kosher and Halal certified.

A full list of the 2025 flavors:

  • Adventurefuls: Indulgent brownie-inspired cookies topped with caramel flavored crème with a hint of sea salt.

  • Caramel Chocolate Chip: Gluten free, chewy cookies with rich caramel, semisweet chocolate chips and a hint of sea salt.

  • Caramel deLites/Samoas: Crisp cookies with caramel, coconut and chocolaty stripes.

  • Peanut Butter Sandwich/Do-si-dos: Crunchy oatmeal sandwich cookies with peanut butter filling.

  • Girl Scout S’mores: Crunchy graham sandwich cookies with chocolate and marshmallow filling.

  • Lemonades: Savory, refreshing shortbread cookies topped with a tangy lemon-flavored icing.

  • Lemon-Ups: Crispy lemon cookies baked with inspiring messages.

  • Peanut Butter Patties/Tagalongs: Crispy cookies layered with peanut butter and covered with a chocolaty coating.

  • Thin Mints: Crisp, chocolate cookies dipped in a delicious mint chocolaty coating.

  • Toast-Yay!: Yummy toast-shaped cookies full of French toast flavor and dipped in delicious icing.

  • Toffee-tastic: Gluten free! Rich, buttery cookies with sweet, crunchy toffee bits.

  • Trefoils: Iconic shortbread cookies inspired by the original Girl Scout Cookie recipe.
