North Texas resident wins $1 million with Texas Lottery scratch-off ticket

A Dallas resident won a million dollars in the Texas Lottery.

The resident, who remains anonymous, claimed a top prize-winning ticket worth $1 million in the scratch ticket game called $1,000,000 Crossword, according to a news release from the Texas Lottery Commission.

The winning ticket was purchased at Buckner Shell, at 2438 S. Buckner Blvd. in Dallas.

This was the third of six top prizes worth $1 million to be claimed in this game, according to the release.

Crossword offers more than $229.3 million in total prizes. Overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.41, including break-even prizes, the commission said.
