Watch: Burglars crash vehicle into Fort Worth smoke shop on Christmas morning

Three burglars were caught on camera fleeing a Fort Worth smoke shop on Christmas morning after crashing their vehicle into the building, starting a fire, police said.

Around 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 25, police responded to a burglary call at Modern Smoke, 8552 S. Hulen St. The caller said that a vehicle had been crashed into the building and three suspects were seen fleeing, police said.

In video surveillance footage shared by Modern Smoke to Star-Telegram media partner WFAA-TV, the suspects are seen getting out of the vehicle and entering the building. Later, the vehicle is seen ablaze.

When officers arrived, they saw the vehicle was on fire and flames were spreading to the building. Fort Worth Fire Department personnel were called for assistance, police said.

There are no suspects in custody at this time and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
