One injured in shooting near north Fort Worth fire station Saturday night
One person was injured in a shooting near a north Fort Worth fire station Saturday night, officials said.
Officers responded to a shooting call outside Fire Station 31 on Longstraw Drive, just west of N. Beach Street, at around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, according to an online incident report.
A 30-year-old man had been shot and was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
A witness told officials that a loud car passed byand then the victim realized he had been shot, according to the report.
It is not known at this point whether the shot came from that vehicle or from elsewhere, police said.
Officers recovered two Hornady 5.56 casings from the scene, according to the report.
No arrests have been announced in connection to the shooting.
