These are the family-friendly DFW pumpkin patches that will be open this fall
All summer, farmers have been growing fall’s biggest mascot: the pumpkin. It’s almost time to go pick your decorative gourd.
In classic Texas fashion, we will experience a warmer autumn. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, fall will officially commence on Sept. 22. If anything, this gives more opportunity for outdoor activities, like pumpkin patches.
Dallas-Fort Worth has its fair share of farms and churches that host patches with games, concessions, and, of course, pumpkins.
So, while you may not get away with a chunky sweater and hot pumpkin spiced latte, you can at least celebrate fall by carving a jack o’lantern in the cooler (but still warm) weather.
