Missing 16-year-old boy found safe, Fort Worth police say

The Fort Worth Police Department said a 16-year-old boy who was reported missing on Friday has been found safe.

The teen had last been seen at about 4 a.m. Friday near the 2100 block of Shawnee Trail, police said.

According to Fort Worth police, he was riding a blue bike and carrying a red bag with fishing poles inside.

Police said in an update Saturday morning that the boy had been located.
