FC Dallas and REV Entertainment are partnering with Mansfield to bring a 100-acre soccer stadium complex to the fast-growing city.

The groundbreaking took place Monday along Heritage Parkway, and the complex, called Staybolt Street, should be open by spring of 2026, according to a news release.

FC Dallas said it would assist in the design and construction of the stadium, which is expected to host youth soccer and international tournaments. FC Dallas developed the the 145-acre Toyota Stadium and Soccer Center in Frisco.

“Staybolt Street will be a game changer for the Mansfield community,” Mayor Michael Evans said. “For a long time Mansfield has had a reputation as one of the best places to live and now with Staybolt, it’ll be known as an exceptional place to play.”

The venue will include a bowling alley, arcade games and rooftop concert venue, according to the city.

Mansfield will own the complex while FC Dallas and REV Entertainment will manage the day-to-day operations. REV Entertainment is an events business created by the Texas Rangers in 2021.

“This groundbreaking is a landmark moment for the City, and marks the first step toward endless opportunities that will be available in the Entertainment District,” said Sean Decker, president of REV Entertainment.

Staybolt Street refers to Mansfield’s first steam-powered mill, which was built in 1860 by Julian Feild and Ralph Man.
