Here’s how to participate in funeral, procession for Fort Worth police Sgt. Billy Randolph

The procession, funeral and honor services for fallen Fort Worth police Sgt. Billy Randolph began with the procession at 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

There are several ways in which family, friends and community could participate in honoring Sgt. Randolph, the Fort Worth Police Department said.

A procession from Bob Bolen Public Safety Complex, at 505 W. Felix St., to Christ Chapel Bible Church, at 3701 Birchman Ave., began at 8:30 a.m. and ended at about 9:15.

The funeral is open to the public. There will be limited seating inside the Christ Chapel Bible Church sanctuary. Overflow seating will be at the Link building connected to the south side of the sanctuary. Another overflow viewing option will be at Will Rogers Auditorium, at 3401 W. Lancaster Ave.

Honor services will take place at the church after the funeral ceremony. There will not be a cemetery service.

All public parking will be in the Dickies Arena Yellow Lot with shuttle services available.
