It’s easy to get spooked at night when you hear creepy sounds or see sudden strange movements.

To some people, the unexplainable could be paranormal activity. A Fort Worth homeowner thinks she was visited by a person or something else.

“My ring camera just told me there was someone at my front door and this is what I saw,” the person wrote on the NextDoor social site.

“Does anyone else see what I see?” She asked about the three photos that she shared.

The photos appear to spot a human-figured shadow near the sidewalk by her porch. Many who responded were skeptical of the sighting yet agreed that it looked like a ghost.

“Did you catch a ghost? Halloween is 2 1/2 months away. Hope you have your backup plan ready,” one poster said.

“I have a ghost tour business in the Fort Worth Stockyards called “honky tonk spirits.” That is definitely a Ghost,” another person in the thread replied.

Others admitted that the figure was odd but had their own assumptions.

“That’s funny. It does look like a man, but totally shadow casted by your pole. Maybe a big bug went by,” a user said.

The Ring camera alerts don’t seem unusual, as some users said they could relate. One Nextdoor poster said he was also spooked while responding to a similar notification of a guest at his door.

“My Ring camera where I used to live on Locke Ave would alert me to someone being at my door from time to time. No one would be on the film, but in one instance, I could hear someone speaking like they were a long way off. I couldn’t distinguish the words it was speaking and neither could a friend of mine. Spooky!” the person said.

While there’s no confirmation of what the figure was, people wished the homeowner good luck.

“At first, I’m not gonna lie, I saw an ostrich with a fly head and eyes. However, that appears to be a spirit,” a poster commented. “Dark entities are never good. I would anoint your house and pray and rebuke any demonic spirits out loud.”
