Fort Worth Soul Food Festival is this weekend. Here’s what to know
Pork chops, oxtails, candied yams and fried chicken are on the menu in Fort Worth this weekend.
The Fort Worth Soul Food Festival is coming to Cowtown on Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. The festivities will be held at Eventos Licon, an event space at 8629 Camp Bowie West Blvd.
Over 20 soul food vendors from Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas and more will be at the event, according to festival promoter Elite Experience Events. Along with food, other vendors will be there selling clothing, jewelry and more.
Tickets are free for those who RSVP online here at www.eventbrite.com. Guests can also buy a $5 ticket online to enter a $200 giveaway.
No outside food or drinks are permitted inside, but pets are as long as they’re leashed. Event organizers are still accepting vendors, who can apply online at https://form.jotform.com.
