A motorist was killed early Thursday on Interstate 30 near Montgomery Street in Fort Worth when his vehicle hit the back of a tractor trailer.

A driver killed early Thursday when his SUV hit the back of a stopped tractor-trailer on Interstate 30 has been identified, police said.

Jeyjuan Williams, 39, died at the scene from multiple blunt-force injuries, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s website. No other injuries were reported.

The accident occurred at about 1:30 a.m. at 3750 West Freeway in the eastbound lanes near Montgomery Street.

When they arrived, patrol officers found that a Ford Expedition had hit the back of the tractor-trailer, which had stopped on a dividing lane.

The accident was under investigation.
