Cobb Park in southeast Fort Worth could be getting new neighbors.

A developer is proposing dividing a roughly 31-acre plot into individual parcels for 73 single family homes.

The plots would be 5,000 square feet, which is similar to the density seen in neighborhoods like Riverside or Mistletoe Heights.

The land is bounded by Cobb Park to the west, U.S. 287 to the north, Canberra Court to the east, and Berry Street to the south.

The new subdivision will be accessible from Berry Street to the south and Thannisch Avenue to the east, which will connect with an already existing single-family neighborhood, according to city documents.

Details about the developer are not listed in the documents. A representative for the engineering firm working on the project did not return a phone call and an email from the Star-Telegram requesting comment.
