Airing your complaints nowadays is easy. Log onto the popular neighborhood networking app Nextdoor, post what’s going on and you’ll likely find neighbors who are experiencing the exact same thing.
But what are your Fort Worth neighbors complaining about and discussing the most on the app?
A study by Regional Foundation Repair that combed through 58,735 posts and 354,927 comments in 50 of the nation’s largest cities found Fort Worth residents are discussing dogs and traffic issues the most.
Among the city’s chief complaints on Nextdoor? Construction. Fort Worth ranks No. 13 in cities that complain about construction the most. It also ranks No. 16 for cities that complain about traffic the most.
The nation’s 13th largest city also ranks No. 11 among the cities that discuss kittens.
And even though Fort Worth loves to talk about kittens, it’s also No. 14 in complaints about feral cats.
Barking dogs, on the other hand, don’t seem to be an issue in the city. Fort Worth ranks No. 1 for cities that complain about barking dogs the least. It also ranks No. 13 in cities that complain about dog poop and waste the least.
Fort Worth is No. 7 on the list of cities that complain about parking the least, No. 13 for cities that complain about noise the least and No. 24 for cities that complain about “trash, smells, and smelly streets” the least.
The city is also No. 23 on the list for cities where residents watch each other on cameras the least.
