A two-alarm fire damaged a Fort Worth warehouse containing swimming pool products early Thursday and sent one person to the hospital, officials said.

The fire at Flamin’ Finishes Swimming Pool Coatings in the 2200 block of Cantrell Sansom Road was reported around 3 a.m., according to Star-Telegram media partner WFAA-TV. Heavy fire was coming from the back of the warehouse.

More fire crews were called to the scene due to the pool chemicals and the heat, WFAA reported. Fire Battalion Chief Aaron Gilmore told WFAA that it took firefighters about 20 or 30 minutes to extinguish the blaze.

One person was transported to a local hospital for smoke inhalation, according to WFAA. A nearby home was evacuated due to the possibility of hazardous chemicals in the air.
