Man dies after falling off parking garage in downtown Fort Worth, authorities say

A man died after he fell off a parking garage in downtown Fort Worth on Thursday morning, according to police and medical examiner records.

Officers were dispatched to the parking garage at 200 W. 6th St. between Houston and Throckmorton shortly after 10:30 a.m., according to a police report. A 911 caller stated that a man had fallen off the parking garage.

According to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office, the 50-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:43 a.m. The medical examiner’s office ruled his death a suicide.
