Motorist killed in fiery crash near Eagle Mountain Lake
A motorist was killed early Wednesday when his car burst into flames after it crashed near Eagle Mountain Lake in northwest Tarrant County, authorities said.
The man’s identity had not been released as of Wednesday morning.
The wreck occurred about 2 a.m. Wednesday in the 9300 block of Ten Mile Bridge Road when the man lost control of his Fort Taurus and went off the road, said Terry Grisham of the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Department.
The car hit a tree, rolled over, landed upside-down and caught fire, Grisham said.
He said the fire was so intense that emergency crews could not try to pull the driver out.
