A Fort Worth resident just became $1 million richer.

A top prize-winning ticket worth $1 million in the Texas Lottery scratch ticket game $1,000,000 Diamond Riches was bought at Hwy 10 Food Mart at 100 N. Booth Calloway Road in Hurst. The prize claimant will remain anonymous, the Texas Lottery said.

This was the third of four top prizes worth $1 million to be claimed. The game offers more than $257.9 million in total prizes. The odds of winning a prize of $75 or more in the game are one in 3.49, according to the Texas Lottery.

The first Texas Lottery ticket sold in 1992. Since then, the lottery has generated $36.1 billion in revenue for the state and distributed $78.5 billion in prizes to lottery players.

The Texas Lottery has multiple games including Powerball, Mega Millions, Lotto Texas, All or Nothing, Texas Two Step, Pick 3, Daily 4, Cash Five and scratch ticket games.
