Man, 43, dies in dirt bike wreck in southwest Fort Worth
A 43-year-old Fort Worth man died Thursday night after crashing his dirt bike in southwest Fort Worth.
The wreck occurred about 9:30 p.m. in the 2900 block of Grand Gulf Road.
According to police, a man was speeding north at the 9000 block of Poynter Street when he lost control of his dirt bike and hit a light pole.
The rider, identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s office as Damon Echols, was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:39 p.m.
