Here are drink deals in Fort Worth bars to help you celebrate National Tequila Day
Pull up a chair and a squeeze of lime, because this Sunday is National Tequila Day.
Not much is known of why and when the holiday was started to celebrate all things tequila, but fans of the liquor gather every year on July 24, according to Patron Tequila. While not an official holiday in the U.S., the day is aimed at celebrating the popular distilled product.
To legally qualify as tequila, it can only be produced in Mexico — specifically in Jalisco or in Mexican states such as Guanajuato, Michoacán, Nayarit and Tamaulipas, according to Thrillist.
