An individual is in the hospital after being hit by a vehicle Saturday in west Fort Worth.
At about 11 p.m., Fort Worth police officers responded to Calmont Avenue and Las Vegas Trail due to a major accident. An individual was crossing the street and was hit by a vehicle, according to police spokesperson Leonard Elgin.
The victim was transported to an area hospital in serious condition.
Traffic detectives were notified to investigate, Elgin said.
