Paschal High School students plan abortion-rights protest in downtown Fort Worth
The Paschal High School Feminist Club is organizing an abortion-rights protest Saturday afternoon in downtown Fort Worth.
The protest is planned to begin around 2 p.m. in front of the Tarrant County Courthouse.
“Our club is directly involved in the struggle for sexual and reproductive rights in DFW, and we have been fighting adamantly in defense of this cause,” Jonathan Feldman, a student at Paschal and member of the club, said in an email.
It’ll be the second protest outside the courthouse this week, after a draft decision from the Supreme Court suggesting the court might overturn Roe v. Wade was leaked to Politico on Monday evening.
Abortion-rights activists gathered outside the courthouse Tuesday carrying signs and wearing shirts in support of legal and accessible abortions.
