The Fort Worth school district has more than 10,500 employees who earn from about $11,000 a year for some cafeteria jobs to $330,000 a year for the district’s top boss. Look up any of these salaries using the tool below.

According to public records, 214 employees earn over $100,000 a year, which is about 2% of the school district’s total workforce. These include high school principals (and a few at lower-grade schools), chief executives and directors, lawyers, some diagnosticians and others.

About 19% of district workers earn less than $30,000; many of these are bus attendants or drivers, office assistants, teaching assistants and custodians, some of whom may not work full time throughout the year.

The average salary of high school teachers is about $64,800. For middle and elementary grade teachers, it is roughly $64,100. Teacher band directors average $69,200 a year; the 154 physical education teachers average $65,700, and 31 JROTC instructors average $77,500.

Among principals, average pay in high schools is $129,900. Middle school principals earn an average of $105,400; for elementary principals, it is about $95,700.

Overall, the average earnings among all 10,549 employees is $56,054.
