Nearly 11-hour 911 outage in North Tarrant County fixed Tuesday morning

Parts of north Tarrant County and Fort Worth experienced a 911 outage Monday evening into Tuesday morning.

The outage, which began Monday around 9 p.m., affected the area north of Bailey-Boswell to Bonds Ranch roads and between Business 287 to Los Rios Drive near the Eagle Mountain Lake area, police said.

The service line was repaired around 8:15 a.m. Tuesday after the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office reported the outage 11 hours prior.

“The Tarrant County 911 District advises that a damaged fiber optic line has been repaired and 911 services are back in service,” the Sheriff’s Office said.

The 911 outage, which occurred sometime around Monday evening, affected the area north of Bailey-Boswell to Bonds Ranch roads and between Business 287 to Los Rios Drive near the Eagle Mountain Lake area, police said.
