A Fort Worth teenager, who was missing for over a week, has been found.

Dashayla Wolfe was located Friday and is now back with her family, Pastor John Reed of the Walls of Deliverance Church said in a news release.

The 14-year-old had been missing since Oct. 20, her mother said in a press conference earlier in the week, hosted by the Baptist Ministers Union of Greater Fort Worth and the Ministers of Justice Coalition of Texas. Her mother believed the teen may have been persuaded to leave home.

“We still support a Fort Worth Police Department review of the total numbers of missing children in communities of color and discover ways to reduce this travesty,” said Pastor Kyev Tatum of the New Mount Rose Missionary Baptist Church and Ministers of Justice Coalition of Texas. “A mother’s level of support should not be determined based on the ZIP code they live in. A mother’s love is a mother’s love.”
