Woman shot in arm during apparent attempted carjacking in Fort Worth, police say
A man shot a woman in the arm in south Fort Worth early Tuesday morning after apparently trying to steal her car, police said.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 700 block of East Berry Street around 5:15 a.m. Tuesday. The woman had called 911 to state a man shot her in the arm outside of a McDonald’s as he tried to carjack her, police said.
She was transported to a hospital for treatment.
The suspect is outstanding.
Robbery detectives will be working the investigation, police said.
