Changes coming to Fort Worth apartment complex with purchase by Dallas firm

A Dallas-based real estate firm has ventured in to the Fort Worth housing market with the purchase of River Park, a 280-unit, garden-style multifamily complex on the Clear Fork of the Trinity River.

Westmount Realty Capital operates industrial space in Fort Worth and owns apartment complexes in other cities, but this is the company’s first residential purchase here. Fort Worth has strong a strong economy with steady growth and a multifamily occupancy rate higher than the national average, CEO Cliff Booth said in a statement.

“These traits make the Fort Worth market very appealing,” he said.

The company plans interior and exterior renovations at River Park, 3309 River Park Dr. Upgrades to the amenities include outdoor WiFi, covered parking and a modernized pool.

River Park is within walking distance to the Trinity Trails and close to Interstate 20, Bryan Irvin Road and Chilsom Trail Parkway. It is less than five miles from TCU as well as The Shops at Clearfork.
