Should you be working? A list of essential and nonessential workplaces in Tarrant County
Should you still be working during the coronavirus? Over the weekend, Tarrant County enacted regulations closing down most nonessential businesses. Below is a list from Tarrant County that you can use to determine whether your work and workplace is essential or non-essential.
Even for businesses that are open, employers must ensure that their employees stay at least 6 feet away from one another.

- Day care facilities

- Essential government buildings
- Airports and transit buildings
- Transportation systems
- Residential buildings and hotels
- Manufacturing and distribution facilities

Non-essential businesses
- Bars, lounges, taverns
- Commercial amusement establishments (miniature golf, amusement parks, go-kart tracks etc.)

Food establishments
Restaurant dininig rooms are closed to the public but can offer delivery, drive-through and carryout. Employees are allowed to be there as long as they stay 6 feet away from each other.
