Could north Fort Worth be getting a new high-density living community?
Despite concerns that north Fort Worth is growing too big, too fast, it looks like multi-family housing developer Greystar is planning on bringing a senior living community to the area.
According to plans filed with the city in late December, Greystar wants to build a senior living community with four-story buildings along Golden Triangle Boulevard. The site does not have an address yet.
Greystar has built a number of luxury senior living communities throughout the area. Two of their senior living brands are called Overture and Everleigh. There are Overture communities in the Ridgmar neighborhood, Arlington, Flower Mound and one under construction in the River District. Greystar has two Everleigh communities in Texas: one in Dallas and the other in Austin.
All of Greystar’s brands are advertised toward active seniors looking for luxury amenities.
Since the plans have yet to be approved, no word yet on when construction will begin or when the community will open.
