Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found near railroad tracks in central Fort Worth on Sunday.

Railroad workers found the body of Neal Shaddock, 58, of Fort Worth, in the 100 block of West Jessamine Street. Officials with the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office pronounced him dead shortly after 10 a.m., according to authorities.

Police said they are awaiting a ruling on the cause of death from the medical examiner’s office as they continue their investigation.
