Fort Worth police asking for help finding driver who severely injured a pedestrian

The public is being asked to help find a driver in a hit-and-run wreck that sent a man to the hospital in critical condition.

A pedestrian was hit about 3 a.m. on April 16 by a vehicle in the 4100 block of Wilbarger Street, according to police.

The vehicle is described as a white or tan SUV, possibly a Lincoln Navigator, police said. The driver left the scene and did not stop to help the victim, police said.

Detectives investigating the hit-and-run and are asking the public to help them identify the vehicle and driver.
