These new luxury apartments in Fort Worth will include a resort pool and a ‘paw spa’
Fort Worth’s Near Southside neighborhood is set to get a new luxury apartment compound called The Cooper.
Developer Lang Partners broke ground on the site Wednesday, at the southwest corner of West Rosedale Street and College Avenue. The Cooper will be a five-story, 390-unit building worth about $65 million.
According to a news release, The Cooper will include one, two and three-bedroom apartments, lofts and townhomes. They will have 10 to 12-foot ceilings, walk-in closets and walk-in glass showers. The floor plans for the apartments range from 600 to 1,810 square feet, and rent ranges from $1,200 to $4,000 per month.
The amenities are at a luxury level as well. There will be a resort-style pool with private cabanas, outdoor grilling and lounge stations, fire pits and property-wide WiFi. There will also be a yoga studio, fitness center, coffee bar, a leash-free pet park and large work spaces for residents.
Construction for The Cooper is slated to finish in August 2020.
