He took teens to nudist colonies, painted their bodies, shot photos. He’s been stopped.
At 15, the young girl performed sex acts on Frederick Whitley and he would buy her clothes.
At times, Whitley took her to nudist colonies.
While she was pregnant, the 48-year-old Whitley would come into her bedroom and ask her if she was horny and would have sex with her.
Whitley had dozens of photographs of the teen and other youngsters wearing only body paint. An analysis of his computer resulted in the discovery of more than 3,000 photographs and seven videos of children.
But all that has stopped and Whitley is headed to prison.
In a plea agreement reached with prosecutors, Whitley pleaded guilty last week to three counts of sexual performance by a child and one count of child pornography.
The Fort Worth man, who was acquainted to most of his young victims, was sentenced to eight years in prison on each charge. The sentences will be served concurrently.
He was taken into custody last week, ending an investigation that began in August 2016 in Hill County. Hill County is about 55 miles south of Fort Worth.
In 2016, one of Whitley’s victims, now 21 years old, made an outcry to deputies with the Hill County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies discovered the sexual abuse occurred in Fort Worth and alerted investigators with the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office. A Texas Ranger then investigated the case along with Tarrant County investigators.
An arrest warrant gave this brief account of the case:
The 21-year-old told authorities Whitley had started sexually abusing her when she was 8, noting that it escalated when she was about 15 when he forced her to perform sex acts on him.
Whitley took her to a nudist colony when she was 16 and it was there that she got pregnant by a boy she met at the colony.
Whitley took nude photos of her while she was pregnant.
A Child Protective Services report dated Feb. 16, 2013, said that when the teen gave birth to her daughter, Whitley was there and hospital staff reported inappropriate behavior.
The hospital staff said Whitley answered questions concerning the teen’s bowel movement and menstrual cycle, he was in bed with her during delivery and he pinched her nipples and massaged her breasts when she attempted to breastfeed her baby.
Prenatal doctors also pointed out in the CPS report that Whitley would watch the teen undress and observed the exams.
In 2017, authorities obtained a search warrant to seize Whitley’s laptop computer and that’s where investigators found dozens of nude photos and videos of children including the teen.
The warrant listed 85 photographs and they included:
▪ Eight photos of young females wearing only body paint making it look like they were wearing bikinis.
▪ Five photographs of the teen standing in a room naked.
▪ Six of the teen wearing a Dallas Cowboys dress, but exposing herself.
▪ 20 of the teen wearing only blue and silver body paint in the form of a bikini and it appeared the pictures were taken near the front door of Whitley’s Fort Worth home.
▪ Four nude photos of the teen where she is only wearing a homecoming mum.
