Pedestrian trying to cross highway struck, killed by vehicle in Fort Worth
A man was killed Wednesday night when he was hit by a vehicle as he attempted to cross East Loop 820, police said.
The name of the victim had not been released by authorities as of Thursday morning.
The accident occurred shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday in the 5400 block of East Loop 820.
Police reported the man tried to cross the highway when he was hit by a vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle suffered a minor head injury and he was taken to a hospital.
