A 28-year-old Arlington woman died Monday morning after being involved in a traffic accident Saturday evening in Fort Worth, authorities say.

Ai-Lien Nguyen collided with a slow-moving trailer truck while traveling south on U.S. 287 shortly after 7 p.m. Saturday, police say.

Police said the trailer, which was towing a street sweeper, entered traffic with hazard lights on traveling at about 15 mph because of its load and the grade of the road.

Nguyen struck the trailer from behind, police said. Police don't know exactly how fast she was going, according to spokesman Bradley Perez.

Nguyen was transported to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, where she died at about 10:30 a.m. Monday, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner.

No citations or arrests were made, and police have completed their investigation.
