A 24-year-old Fort Worth man was in jail Monday, accused of robbing and fatally shooting a man found dead in a west Fort house last week.

Jovan Page was arrested Friday on a capital murder warrant. He remained in the Mansfield Jail on Monday with bail set at $450,000.

Police were called to a shooting shortly before 3 p.m. May 11 in the 5300 block of Libbey Avenue.

Inside the living room, police found the body of Charles Gentry Jr., 29, with a gunshot in the head.

Homicide Sgt. Joe Loughman said Page and Gentry apparently knew each other from drug transactions.

Investigators believe that money and drugs were stolen in the fatal shooting.

Tarrant County records show that Page was indicted in January on a charge of possession of a controlled substance (cocaine.) He was free on bail at the time of the shooting.
