Fort Worth police appeal for help to identify bank robber
Police asked for help to identify a man who robbed a Frost Bank on Saturday afternoon and took an undisclosed amount of money.
Detectives released a photo of the suspect taken from a bank security camera in hopes that someone would recognize him.
At about 12:16 p.m. Saturday, the man walked into the Frost Bank, 4200 S. Hulen St., passed a note to a teller and demanded money, police said.
The note said the bandit had a gun, but no one saw a weapon.
Witnesses described the man as white, about 200 pounds, in his late 20s or early 30s, with short wavy black hair. He wore dark wraparound sunglasses, a short-sleeved collared black shirt and khaki cargo shorts.
Police said he may have been driving a white sedan.
Anyone with information should call Fort Worth police at 817-989-3330 or Crime Stoppers at 817-469-8477.
