Fort Worth Blue Zones Project seeks a more walkable Alliance area
Far north residents gathered in the Alliance area to tackle ways to make the sprawling, car-centric area more walkable for people of all ages and abilities.
Fort Worth’s Blue Zones Project had the workshop from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Heritage Church of Christ to get input on potential changes to their built environment. The built environment is the design and construction of streets, buildings and other areas where people walk, drive and ride bikes, according to a press release.
Dan Burden, a nationally recognized walkability expert, hosted the event.
