A motorist escaped injury Tuesday morning while someone fired several shots at him during a road rage incident in east Fort Worth, police said.

Damage was reported to the car, but no one was wounded, police said.

The shooting occurred shortly before 7 a.m. at East Berry Street and Loop 820 near Berry Chicken & Seafood.

The motorist reported someone fired several shots at him from a Cadillac, police said. A man and woman were in the front seat of the Cadillac and another man was in the back seat, according to a preliminary police report.

The suspect and Cadillac were last seen traveling west on Interstate 20.

Police did not release any other details.
