Get a whiff of this: They stole $3,300 worth of fragrances from Walgreen's, police say
Only the finest fragrances would do.
So three robbers made off with $1,800 worth of cologne and perfume from one Walgreen's location, and stole $1,500 worth from a second, according to a Fort Worth Police Department news release.
So if you see any of these three suspects, who were caught on video at locations on Golden Triangle Boulevard and North Tarrant Parkway, they may smell like 10 bucks, rather than a million.
Police say two of them walked into the Walgreen's at 4324 Golden Triangle just before 11 p.m. on Dec. 23, and walked out with two baskets full of smell-goods. On Dec. 29, police say a third accompanied them on a similar run to the Walgreen's location at 4500 North Tarrant Pkwy.
According to the release, a black male and a Hispanic male carried out the first robbery, and another Hispanic male accompanied them on the second.
In each robbery, surveillance video shows the thieves prying open the fragrance display case, filling two baskets and leaving without paying. According to the release, they were seen leaving the stores in a blue Nissan Sentra.
