Bianca Gisele Davenport Starr, a well-known Fort Worth drag show performer, was shot to death Dec. 8 at a TCU-area home in Fort Worth. A suspect was arrested several days after the shooting.

The suspect in the killing of a popular drag show performer paid $200 for sex with the performer's roommate, but then demanded his money back and opened fire on them at a TCU-area home earlier this month, according to an arrest warrant.

Drag show performer Jason Bradley died at the scene. His roommate was wounded in the shooting.

Detectives tracked down Fayaka Dunbar Jr. , 26, after finding his telephone number on the wounded victim's cell phone, according to the warrant, which was released this week.

Dunbar was in the Tarrant County Jail Thursday with bail set at $100,000.

The arrest warrant gave this brief account of the shooting:

Bradley's roommate, a 36-year-old male, was contacted by a man on the dating service Plenty of Fish. The man identified himself as "Chris."

The two communicated back and forth and exchanged phone numbers.

"Chris" and the roommate reached an agreement to engage in oral sex for $200.

"Chris" showed up at the residence in the 3500 block of Rogers Avenue, driving a silver four-door vehicle. "Chris" entered the home, was escorted to a bedroom and paid $200 after which the roommate performed oral sex on him, according to the warrant.

After getting dressed, "Chris" walked to the living room, where he pulled out a handgun, pointed it at the victim and demanded his money back as well as the victim's cellphone. The victim told "Chris" there were other people in the home.

A struggle ensued and ended with "Chris" shooting the victim.

Hearing the ruckus, Bradley came to the aid of his roommate and began to struggle with "Chris." The suspect fired at Bradley.

"Chris" ran from the home as a third roommate in the house called police.

Police arrived on the scene about 9 a.m. on Dec. 8 near the TCU area. None of those involved were TCU students.

Detectives later identified "Chris" as Dunbar and tracked him down using his cellphone number, according to the warrant.

The roommate who was wounded later identified Dunbar as the suspect in a photo lineup, the warrant states.

Dunbar faces a capital murder charge in the killing of Bradley and the attempted robbery of Bradley's roommate, according to the warrant.

Bradley was known as drag show performer Bianca Gisele Davenport Starr and tributes were posted on Facebook pages of the Rainbow Lounge in Fort Worth and 1851 Club in Arlington.

Bradley was named Miss Dallas Pride 2017 and Miss Texas State At Large 2017, according to the Dallas Voice.
