Joshua woman killed in head-on crash, three others injured
A 20-year-old Joshua woman was killed Saturday night and three other people were injured in a head-on wreck on Conveyor Drive, police said.
Cause of the crash was under investigation, police said.
The woman was identified as Alexis Sanborn, 20, who was pronounced dead at 7:19 p.m. at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Cleburne, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner's office website on Sunday. A ruling on her death is pending an autopsy.
Officers responded to a major accident call shortly before 6:30 p.m. Saturday in the 700 block of Conveyor Drive where two vehicles collided head-on.
Sanborn was the driver of the one the vehicles, police said.
Three passengers in the other vehicle, two adults and a 12-year-old girl, received minor injuries and they were taken to the hospital by private vehicle. A 14-year-old boy also in the vehicle was not injured, police said.
